Rewards and events

The sign-in week, hours played, the day's quests, Duffle Bags for every rank, gift boxes, and the events on Team Vanilla's calendar.

Rewards are Team Vanilla's and are counted once a day across every server: signing in to ten servers pays once. Open them from the lobby's Rewards plate, which shows a gold dot when something is ready to collect. A day begins at midnight UTC.

Rewards, Today: the week's sign-in days and the hours of play

The day

  • Signing in: once a day, the week's next day pays 300, 400, 500, 600, 800 and 1,000 SP, then a Duffle Bag (B) on the seventh, and the week starts again. A missed day does not reset the week; it goes on where it was.
  • Hours of play: minutes of matches played to their end. 60, 120, 180 and 240 minutes pay 300, 400, 500 and 600 SP, and the fourth also a Duffle Bag (A).
  • Quests: three for each soldier each day, drawn from a pool of fifteen and the same three all day, worth 400 to 900 SP each: so many kills, head shots, wins, kills with a kind of weapon. All three collected pays 800 SP and a Gift Box.

Duffle Bags

Every rank you climb brings one, graded by the rank reached. Climbing several at once brings one for each.

A part fits the force you play and is never one you own for good; a gun is one you do not own. When there is nothing of a kind left to give, its worth comes as SP instead.

Each holds SP, one of its season's parts for 3 days, or a boost for a day. Bags and boxes wait in the inventory's Gift tab, and each one shows what it holds, and how often, before you open it.

Events

An event runs for its dates (once, every weekend, or every year) and while it runs may raise SP and XP by a share (two at once: the higher of each counts), drop a box at a match's end to soldiers who played two minutes or more and fought, add to the day's sign-in, add quests of its own, and put its banner on the lobby's line.

The calendar to begin with: New Year (31 December to 8 January), Easter (1 to 15 April), Halloween (24 October to 2 November) and Christmas (20 December to 3 January). SFLegacy Staff keep the calendar in the game's staff panel; the Events tab of the Rewards window shows what is on and what comes next.
